Does the slab crack while being lifted?
It can if a slab is already weak, heavily cracked or lifted too aggressively. Experienced operators lift in controlled increments and watch how adjoining sections respond.
Does concrete leveling fix the soil?
It restores support and fills voids, but it is not a substitute for correcting active drainage, plumbing leaks or major geotechnical problems.
